So I have only read this blog for now, but I will deff be back. So far it sounds we may have pretty similar situations. I started my blog in order to start a sort of on line support system for families who are dealing with immigration issues and who may be now or have been separated due to these issues. Thanks for documenting your struggles with U.S. immigration. I have a very good friend of mine who is in the middle of acquiring his green card and it is very frustrating to hear of all the hoops the government makes him jump through.

I often wonder who it is that gave the government the authority to scrutinize people as much as it does.

Best of luck with the Canadian gov., hopefully they'll be much more reasonable.
